If you want to stop after 2-3 hours, Kingman is your only realistic option. You can get from Las Vegas to Kingman in about 2 1/2 hours under normal conditions using US-93. There is no place to stop between Boulder City and Kingman and it’s a long drive from Kingman to Williams.

There are plenty of motels in Kingman, including major chains. Many of them are congregated along Andy Devine Blvd. near I-40.

You can drive it in the dark (I’ve done it), but you’ll be passing through some isolated country. The highway is slow and winding on both sides of Hoover Dam, so take it easy in that area.

Williams and Flagstaff are good places to stay close to the Canyon, but they are both a long way past your goal of 2-3 hours from Vegas.

I would suggest either Kingman or Flagstaff. Both are nice towns and it is safe to drive the route at night. Kingman is quite a bit farther from the canyon than Flagstaff is. Flagstaff is like an additional 140 miles closer to the Grand Canyon than Kingman. Good luck and have a safe and enjoyable trip!

Your best bet would be to stop in Williams or Flagstaff. It doesn’t get light out here until a little after 6 am, but highway 40 has lights. It is a pretty boring drive with not much to see on the way. Your first stop would be Kingman Arizona which is nice to stop for a bite to eat, and there are several motels there if you needed to stay for the night. If you could drive to Williams which would be 4 hours from Vegas that would be my choice of places to stay.

There are tons of rehab programs in the LA area. What you really need to do is fine one that fits you. Each one offers a unique program. Are you looking for Inpatient/Day/Outpatient? This really can make a difference on which one you choose. Here are some websites to help you:

When picking a place it does matter what you are seeking treatment for. Programs do speacilze in certain things such as cocaine addiction ect…You will want to find a place that meets the needs of your addiction. Also do you/other person have insurance?? Before you go anywhere you need to find out what your insurance will cover and how to get that covered. I use to do mental health benefits and people ended up paying a lot of money because they did not call the insurance first…..I know stupid but true. If you are on a state or federal insurance policy check with them, most of the time they have a few certain places that they will let you go. If you do not have any of the above, contact the rehabs and speak with someone. They will be able to help you find an assistance program. Call before you go to any of the rehabs, if they are full they will not take you so make sure they have room before you go!

Okay as for places to get married in Vegas, There is always the Little White Wedding Chapel. They do themed weddings and well everyone gets married there. Quick fast and cheap. Here are some other sites that have places have about the same thing:

Yes, there is a Korean karaoke place across the street from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) on Maryland Parkway. It’s in the same business park as Chipotle’s.

Don’ t know of any private rooms but you can rent a Karaoke Set up from many of the party rentals in Vegas and use it in private at your own house.

October-November is a very good time to go to Vegas because the weather is much nicer at that time.
hotel rooms are cheaper during the week…i wanna say sunday-thursday. u can stay at a really nice hotel for like $150 a night during the week(on the strip), and end up paying $500 a night in the SAME hotel, but pay more because u went during the weekend. so hotels are cheaper during the week. we did the mistake of going during the weekend.
i grew up in California too, and Vegas’s weather will top Cali’s anyday!!! i came back from Vegas and we were still out on the strip around midnight and it was still hot outside. and it went up to 115, 118 outside…my mom’s friend had suggested to us, to rest during the day(when it’s REALLY hot outside), and go out at night, when it’s a bit cooler, and plus, Vegas looks prettier at night.
